How do I make my own private server?

I've seen so many guides, everything is outdated, would anyone put in the time to make a guide with actual working links and explains thoroughly. I would love to know how to do this so I can make my own guides as well and experiment with CO.It doesn't matter if it's classic, or the newer versions, just something to help me out.

All of the stuff in the release section works perfectly.

If you're not able to follow a step by step video guide then I don't expect you have the programming knowledge required to do anything with the server once it's running.

Have you ever spent 5 minutes reading pro4nevers guide?Redux 5065, works perfectly it even has video guide on how to install and then add custom stuff to it.
