[HELP] DumbDumb needs help!

Alright, so I'm trying to understand this whole offsets deal. I know how to find the offsets, I'm a tad fuzzy on where to specifically update them.

That can be figured out pretty easily. Now here's the kicker.

1. Do I need a new unpacked Dekaron.exe?
2. Where can I find the updated offsets?
3. What offsets have been changed?
4. yes I'm a nub, stfu or gtfo. I'm learning. :)

I'm a slow learner, thats why it took me 12 years to master C++ and ASM. >.<

1- just use the origanal dekaron.exe, much easier
2. search under the hacks section of the forum or search for levithans tut on how to update the offsets
3.you dont know til you search for the new ones. if the one u searched for is the same that you have, it never changed :)

Ok, thanks for the reply monster. Now here's the other kicker of a question...

Do I search the data.d04 pack, or what? I'm leaning more towards the pack.d04, than my other thought. Its 11PM and my brains functionality is slim to none atm, blame the g/f.

mm, are you going for CSV or winhex editing?
If your going for winhex then just search around theres a few on how to edit and where to edit, but it does take a little while.
if your looking for CSV then im not sure i gave up looking for it and i just use CE but ill try and post a link for all the updated hacks/tuts..

ok to search for new offsets open up cheatengine that if u are using that to hack with now once u have ce open now load up ur cheats ok left click one of ur cheats and go to change value ok now find ur offset u should see something like this by ur offset //8B 48 08 8B 50 04 51 8B 4C 24 that is array of byte now copy and paste it in cheatengine and change the value type to array of bytes and make sure hex is checked now do a first scan on it u should have another or the same offset come up if it is the same that mean it aint changed but if it is different u need to open up change value like i told u early and change that offset with the new one u just got

Leviathans tut is for changing offsets in ce scripts.Now if youre going for .csv/winhex editing .d04 is indeed the correct one(share folder inside the d.04 to be more specific).For .csv editing you will need an unpacked data.pak,but for winhex you can use the packed one.

You can see how to get started with .csv editing from drakos post [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] in the .csv editing section and for some more specific info(like crespo dung vack,skill editing etc.)your best bet is to just search for it as there are a lot of good tuts around for those specific areas.

If u took the time someone has already posted the new offsets for 4.9.9. U dont need unpackedDK unless u want to use the old offsets. Simple copy the offsets in the post. and rightclick ur hack in CE and go to Change script and paste in the new offset. U will find 2 places in most if not all scripts that has a string of 8 chars with digits/letters(the mem address of the current hack) should be Green in color, the rest is black font. the blue is comment, but u should know that being master of C++..
