That website is really a scam to rip people off. $20 USD for a guide to be rich in a online game? Ridiculous.
But back on topic, the most common way to make ISK in eve is mainly research, production, mining, ratting, mission running.
I posted a mining macro called RoidRipper, check it out, it's pretty stable and can mine for you all day.
