Use it. It has a one-hour cooldown, you should use it so it will have cooldown. Cooldown means you can't use the item/skill again untill a certain amount of time has passed.

When you go to the GM screen and whine you're stuck, there's supposed to be an anti-unstuck feature there. It will move you a small amount of distance in hopes of getting you out.
