using L2Walker (out of game) on Private Servers

Ok i'm just gonna list the steps for being able to use L2Walker private servers. Note: it may not work for some if they have a modded .exe file (like ultimaro)

1) Ok obviously get C1, L2Walker, and the ini for the private server you wanna use.

2) Download L2 decrypt ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]), L2-Logger ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]), SocksCap ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...])

3) Open up L2Decrypt, and drag the ini you want to decrypt onto it. It will automatically decrypt the file and make a file called l2.clear In that file find the line called ServerAddr, this is the server IP.

4) Run the L2-Logger batch file. Then run SocksCap. Configure it to localhost 1080 V5. Then when the program opens, click New. Browse and open your Lineage 2 system folder find the L2.exe in it. Set this as the path.

5) Run L2 using SocksCap. Run around a little. then log off. In L2-Logger go to View -> Analyzer. You should see a few things on the left hand side of the screen. One of the things should be named ProtocolVersion. Click on it to find the ProtocolVersion for the server.

6) Open your L2Walker folder. You should see a Set file. Open that up and go down to the US section.

7) Change the LoginServer IP to the IP you found in the L2.ini file.

8.) Change the ProtocolVersion to the one you found using L2-Logger.

9) Change the port to 2106, then Save your changes.

10) Run L2Walker as normal and voila. Cool

Hope this helps someone. If there is anything i missed please post what i left out. Also if you are having a problem feel free to post and i'll try to help you.

Strange at me simply it is not started L2-Logger appears and disappears! What to do?

try to read the readme and download the programm from the download link in the readme

1.dl dir den L2Walker und die server ini von dem pserver auf dem du zockst

3.Geh zu l2 decrypt, hau die l2.ini (siehe step1) in den decrypt ordner
dann decrypte öffne l2.clear.ini und such serveraddr=..... das is die ip von loginserver
4.dann öffne die logger.bat und sockscap beim sockscap einstellen auf localhost port 1080
und unten version 5, danach übernehmen und auf ok
5.dann öffnets en neues fenster SocksCap Control da auf file-New und in den system ordner browsen zur l2.exe danach nen profil name eingeben udn ok
6.im l2walker ordner gibts ne set.ini da legst du nen neuen server an ( siehe anderen tuts ^^ )
und haust die ip von der l2.clear.ini und die protocol version vom l2logger rein
die restlichen punkte find ich unnützlich ^^

can psl someone tell me how to instal the sockscaps... cause i ru the istaler charge a bar and then nothing hapens.. and i check and the proces is still there... but i wait and wait, and nothing....

Now i could instasll it... the link was downloaded bad or something i download it from the elite database and work... but the loger dont tell me anything...

Umm, I use the l2decrypt, and drag the privserver (l2.ini) ini file into it, what do I do next? It doesn't make any file, and it just say hit return to exit, where does the .txt file end up?

the should now a "l2.clear.ini" in the folder

and here you can read everything and change it (ip, fullscreen, etc.) and drag the "l2.clear.ini" back on the encrypter...
