Question about Private Messages

I was just wondering when I send a PM I can't see the message in the Sent Item's, Same if I reply I can not see the message I Sent.

Was wondering if there is a reason for this, or is my account bugged?

User CP -> Edit options -> Scroll down -> "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default"
