[HELP] SQL Server acting weird

11/24/2014 17:31 PyroFizz#1
So I'm trying to get a server up like i've done many times in the past but this time I'm encountering error that I don't really know how to fix. My problem comes from the point where i have to setup the basic "Shaiya" acc in the database. I set the password and when i save & then re-open it i see password longer than the one i've typed and I think thats the main reason I'm unable to get the server going (goes arrows and then back to pause). I'm using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 like I usually do and here is what i get:
Here I typed the password I wanted to have:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

So I saved and re-opened just to see this:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Any help will be highly aporeciated! :)

Have you changed the config.ini files as well? As to the encrypted password code, then changed your security password, username? If not might wanna check it out ;)

Thanks for the reply. Yes I changed it there too.

Enforce password Policy you should uncheck it, because it force to keep in way password with Maj Number and minimum of letters.
So in that way it could keep your password without considering this security.

try and see...

This was one of the first things on my mind. Tried it and I'm still getting the same result.

its just the security and its visual. i got 15 stars and my pass is short and i can connect :)

did you config linked servers?
What service goes back to pause first?
11/25/2014 12:23 PyroFizz#8
Yes I did. The first service that goes back to pause is session which refers me to USERLOG and there I see :
Quote:
2014-11-25 03:16:51 DB userlog connect error, Server=127.0.0.1, DBName=PS_UserData, User=Shaiya, Pass=asdasd1
I found something else in the DBAGENT that might be related to the problem :
Quote:
