Will there ever be a private server?

Just hoping one day theres a release and I can play freely without worrying about insane cash buyers ruining the game :confused:

Megabyte and some others are currently working on a Twelvesky 1 private server.

They're coding this in their free time. So it could take awhile for it to get released.

I can only imagine how fun a private server would be. What do companies do with the server files when their contract expires? Do they delete them?

They probably just keep them.

Even if this project will come to life, idk if a lot of ppl will play. Some got used to ts2 and some actually moved on and play other mmorpgs.
Mostly veterans and ppl who actually loved this game will play it. Can.t wait for that to happen thought :)

12sky1 pserver will come soon,still working at it megabyte and other some friends...they finished some important things there but they need free time for more updates..

There should be a beta testing period, where they can advertise the game before actually releasing the complete version. They can know the behavior of the audience this way.

They had some testers.

well, more like a public testing...I think if more people know about it in advance, more will play it. But they will have to offer a lot more as 12sky2 is a clear competitor.

I've seen the site they have for this project and they haven't posted recently. Last post i think was in may or something like that.

Here's to hoping there will be a leak somewhere :)
