remove sounds?

Would it be possible to remove sounds in the game (weapon sounds) and keep only drop sounds? Would be helpful when listening to music/watching a movie

Any idea how to do it? Wont the launcher notice missing files?

I found two folders one is for the ambient sound in the worlds which is a simple format which you can play and delete but the other folder which I assume is the rest of sounds are some format called .INF no luck searching in google about it
