i have a microsoft wireless 3500 bluetrack mouse @ 1000dpi 2.4ghz signal and its good .(to me personally)

but i recently bought a "gaming" mouse 2400dpi (change 800/1600/2400 with button) and this mouse i cant aim accurately in fps shooters ... explain to me ? why .. and what mouse should i buy ?

How are we supposed to know why you can't aim accurately with your new mouse? We don't even know the manufacturer or the model. There could be a couple of reasons:
  • Wrong weight (too heavy/light)
  • Wrong ingame settings
  • Wrong OS settings
  • False/old driver
  • Simply bad mouse/bad sensor
  • ...

this is the mouse.

now when i play with ms bleutrack 3500 wireless mouse... i can aim perfect... headshots almost everytime :) with the wired R8 mouse though however it skips pixels for some reason. tryed many variations of dpi levels and windows mouse settings... idk

What do you expect from a mouse that cost 12pounds????

Just buy a a different mouse, this one is shit.

mouse should be a mouse... i doubt i will buy another mouse with that dpi button... :/ unless it is really good and alot people recomend it

a mouse is not a mouse. if you buy a car for 100englando money you can't expect 200km/h.
this mouse is just cheap. probably dont have a good sensor and is just shit. buy some named products, like corsair, razer, steelseries w/e. Or just buy your old one again.

If technology would be that easy, there wouldn't be hundreds of different manufacturers and brands.
I use this mouse and I don't have any problems with it or the dpi buttons: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Did you turn off mouse acceleration?
It considerably improves accuracy.
You have to do it once in windows and once ingame(or you can do it in Valve games through a config).

yes i had mouse accel on but it made no difference whatsoever :( how do i turn it on in windows? its only ingame ive seen

Maybe your friend just doesn't know how to use a mouse or he throws his mouse away after every death...
And no, it's not "cheap plastic". Doesn't seem like you even touched it.
11/08/2014 12:11 Necruk#13
im talking about the contacts of the left and right click the plastic gets down very fast because(as i said) its all made very cheap.

you dont have to belive me but i have got a lot of experience with compouter hardware and equipment for pc's.(as you can see in my "a bit older" posts in hardware section here)

€: i openend the mouse to look whats broken and than i saw that its all crap if you want to know exactly.
for example my razer diamondback is made out of 3 other diamondbacks(every one had another defect) and works perfectly if you would see both mouses open and look in each you would directly see what i mean with cheap.
11/08/2014 14:13 Ares#14
Even though it's allegedly cheap, it works perfectly for me.
