Why do you want to be moderator?
I would like to be a moderator because I know I can do the job well. epvp is my favorite gaming forum and I would rather contribute and help our community over any other gaming forum. The community in the section I'm applying for had initially recommended me to apply. However, at the time I did not meet the qualifications. With their support, I'm confident I can do a good job.
How much experience do you have with the issue of the forum you apply for?
I have about a years worth experience combined by playing on the official Acclaim and VinaGame servers. I also write and maintain my own hack for VinaGame.
Do you have enough time to visit the board about every two days and to put enough effort into the job?
Definitely. I usually visit the forum multiple times daily. I generally follow the rule to do the job right or don't do it at all. The same applies to the majority of my posts. If I'm not up to making the effort to provide a good post or reply, I will wait and do it when I am, rather than post something unhelpful or nonsensical.
Did you regularly take part in the section before you posted your application?
The majority of my posts are from the 9Dragons section. It's my home on the forums. Although, someone is not always there to keep my spot warm when I'm gone.
Are you able to handle questions and questioners of which you think that they are very stupid?
Yes, I generally try to explain to them the illogical reason of their question and follow up with an answer. I also did IT help desk and phone tech support for a combination of 4 years. Currently I am one of the system administrators at my job and I get these kind of questions daily.
Can you act appropriate/mature with other human beings?
Most definitely. But some say I can be too serious. I'm usually mature with a bit of sarcasm. Although sometimes the sarcasm goes over their head.
Did you ever operate as a moderator before?
I have been a moderator on a few forums in the past. One was a private gaming forum, second was for ircN.org, and the last was an internal IBM support forum for an outsourced company.
