Cauldron of Aruba Bonus Map bug​

Ahoy Pirates,

Due to the bug with the Bonus Maps last Tuesday we have made the decision to remove 2/3 of the Bonus Maps gained from the Cauldron of Aruba on that day between 14:00 and 18:00 (when the bug was active in the game). We will book 100 pearls for all the Bonus Map pieces we remove (the value of 1 mojo per map piece) as follow:

We appreciate that this was a bug and not an exploit which is why we decided to leave 1/3 of the Bonus Maps on your accounts. However, as we are sure you understand, the bonus maps are one of the most desirable parts of the Cauldron of Aruba which is why the % chance of getting the map pieces is relatively low. If we left the large amount of Bonus Maps which were gained from the bug on your accounts it would greatly harm the in-game balancing, causing a knock-on effect throughout the rest of the game.

We will hopefully run this script later today and, once it has been completed, the excess bonus maps will be removed and the pearls will be booked to your account. You will also see a logbook entry in your account.

hahahha im very curious to see what happens to me. I've done half of my maps.
I have seen negative pearls, negative gold but never ever negative maps.

i have play all the bonus map and i am not lost nothing.i have the same pearl after the restart and the bonus map when i open after the bug. :D:D:D

But then again; you should have known that Bigpoint would rather throw a nuclear bomb over their own country, rather than letting people swim in bonusmaps.. :p I had the choice too, but I chose to look forward in time. :D ;)
