My LoL time finished long ago, but if I have to choose.. I would choose LoL.

Prefer LoL.
- Even if the community can sometimes be really... annoying, riot did a lot for the esport scene. LoL is ofc more casual, and thats why i like it more.
- I dont have to play 203402354230h to be a midclass player.
- after a while I had the "pokemon syndrom". I really wanna catch all of them champions :P
- a lot of balancing and changes which need you to keep track on patches etc. and the game continue to grow and change which makes it less boring
After all I would never say LoL is perfect and there are things that i dont like (like the ammount of ip you need to build up like 5 or 6 runepages) but i would always prefer LoL.

forget community and all , dota pro players are by far more skilled than lol players :)
lol = teamwork
dota = strategy / skill game
on lol everyone is like '' YOLO '' in dota (atleast on skilled games ) every action bringes a consiquence so u rly think smth before u do it :)

it's funny how every dota player is saying that they like it because it's so much more difficult and that shit.. i dont think that any of you in here are at this kind of level to say that!
That's the only reason I hear from dumb Dota players ( i dont mean that every dota player is dumb!)

Both games are GOOD and DIFFERENT, and LoL is not a copy just because DOTA introduced the MOBA Gametype...
Would you say that every card or shooter game is an exact copy of the first game, even if the gameplay is completely different?!
I think that both games are equally good, but it's kinda hard to adapt to the other game and that's the reason why people stick to the first moba they played..
Most lol players stay at lol and most dota players stay at dota, because the adaptation is not so easy like from Battlefield to Titanfall for example..
So.. my first moba was lol, thats why i voted for lol! :)
i tried dota2, but it would take too much time for me to adapt to it's mechanics etc.
and using this time is not worth for me because
a) my friends play LoL
b) I still have fun with LoL
and c) because i think that riot is a pretty nice company and like how they communicate with the community
