Hello,

I just tried to open DDS Files from Atlantica with InfranView but huh?
Seems like NDoors don't want you to open it.

Well, let's see how we can open it.
  1. Download: XVI32 Hex Editing Software ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...])
  2. Drag & Drop the DDS File you want to open in it.
  3. Click on XVI Script > Editor at the top
  4. Copy and paste the Code below in it and click "Execute"

Code:
ADR 0
OVERWRITE 44 44 53 20 7C 00 00 00 07 10 02 00 00 02 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00
These are the first Lines from the DDS File as they should be.
After you clicked on "Execute", make sure you save the DDS-File at the "Save" Icon in XVI32.

After that is done you can view the DDS-File or even Edit it.

A nDoors DDS converter with rightclick explorer extension was already released some years ago as open source:

No problem, it's just that your solution is ignoring escpecially the widht/height part of the dds files. this can cause problems in several viewers.
