Hey im seeing alot of People geting there db stole...well here is some ways to stop this from happing...

Step One:
Go into Navicat and delete this: @localhost

Step Two:
Change your DB Password:
Well how do you do that?
What you do is go to your Account folder and open AuthorizeDB with Notepad.
Once it is Open change this:
Code:
127.0.0.1 test [COLOR="Red"]Password-Here[/COLOR] account2 account name password id
count_stat server_name status
127.0.0.1 test 4871344843773d3d111 account2
Then go to your Account.ini and config.ini and change the password in these files to your new one.

Now go to the GameServer folder
Now you will need to open gameserver with NotePad.
Once it is Open edit it like this:
Code:
600 600 600 600 600 600 600 1 127.0.0.1 test [COLOR="Red"]password-here[/COLOR] my
Once you edited it you must now edit Config.ini, Shell.ini, and Shell.dat.
For Shell.dat you must Hex Edit it.

Step Three:
Edit your Navicat to the New password and your done :) Dont share with no one else beside who you know you can trust...

Code:
All thanks goes to me if this Helped

Not to be the rain at the parade but what does these changes do that will help someone? Because if someone managed to get into your machine they would not even need to have MySQL access to get the database. Not to mention that the logins and passwords are displayed right there in config files.

This will simple not work, MsgServer won't permit new password unless you HEX Edit a dll that i don't remember it's name.

Had been mentioned several times on this forums, won't help anyone, because of you make the root test for 127.0.0.1 then no one can acces the database outside your machine.

Thanks for it, but it's useless, completely.

To a point. Depends where the % is. As % = wildcard so it can be any value.

So

@% = ANY IP (firewall can still block the IPs though)
@190.% = ANY IP starting with 190
@50.12.% = Any ip within the range of 50.12
