SilkRoad Private Server. TIME THAT WE MAKE ONE

Hey guys, first of all I know what your thinking:

ohh no!! Not another noob trying to create a private server!

But no.

Just last year I posted a thread on another forum saying that I will be making a private server.

Over 100 people emailed me saying that they want to help.. over 100..

but sadly I had quit by then.. But things could change.. I still know a couple of people.

Its about time that someone made a private server that doesnt lag and has good rates..

Now I know this may cost alot.

We can worry about that later. I already have a friend who has made a working private server.. I can ask for his files.


But it wont be easy, If i cant get to him we are going to need to make some good files.

Now, we have to have a start. So I'm thinking we all look at the best emulators and use some of their files. then we go and we get a database.

Im not kidding about this. If the same thing happens that happened before, we could make this happen.

All we need are some people to help us.

Here is excactly what I need.


4 or more coders. C#, Phython, Visual Studio basically.

2 or more Designers. Some ppl who are good with Photoshop and making websites. Im talking REAL good.

Some management people. I need about 2-3 Including myself.
Management isint just sitting around bossing ppl. It means you can do all of the above and help the people do their job better.

And later I will need GMs. (Dont post saying you want to be a gm.) I will randomly pick the best people.

Also last but not least.

A hoster. Maybe someone with a really nice and fast computer. that can handle a few tests with 1-5 people.

Also I will need some donators. ( but thats later)

Note: I am not the boss.. We all are bosses all the people who get involved have a say in this. But dont just say ohhh i want it to be 200x rates and 2000 cap! Its hard to make things. dont think its so easy. thats why we need good people who will take this seriously.

So what your saying is that the only reason u came here to this thread is to calll me a fail?

what you gotta understand is

people attempt to make servers but end up giving up

and just telling people about the server just to donate and what not

and scam other people

not saying you would but we all doubt everyone because of all the scammers

i go one step further. i dont predict that you will fail. i say u already had failen (is that the right form? nvm idgas).

a new private wont ever start with a thread at epvpers "i make servaaa". it will start with a bunch of money. nothing more.

And yes you are right. Thats why people have a choice.

Also I did give up a year ago. But I still am getting ppl email me saying they want to help. Even though that was a year ago.

So this time. Since I found out that Over 100 people wanted to help.

I thought if I could get all those people to help and more imagine what we could do.
