WarRock Launcher

WarRock Launcher

Hello everybody,

I have a new program, an alternative to the original WarRock launcher.

There are many of these around, so I just added the new language's and a time function for fun.

In total, there are 5 languages, all which are supported by WarRock.
These are as follows:
  • English
  • Italian
  • German
  • Turkish :(
  • Polish

The program does bypass the weekly patch, which can be useful for some and not for others. Help was acquired from IamSupermanx3.

It doesn't load the News Feed, which save's you a few seconds. It's pretty useless, but I thought I might as well release it.

How to use:
  1. Download it.
  2. Put it in your WarRock EU folder.
  3. Right click it, and press send to Desktop.
  4. This creates a shortcut, and can now be used from the desktop.

Update for 1.0 -> 1.1:
- Added the manifest which forces the program to run as Admin.
--- User isn't required to run as Admin each time.

- Changed colour of ASCII.
--- Not a bright yellow, but instead dark. Not as blinding.

Good idea but i'd do it as form and i'd store prefered language

Oh, you can add a manifest file to force user to run it as Administrator, so you don't need to write it in the program.

Thank's for the feedback, I'm still learning so I'm working with console right now.

However, I might try add these feature's next time.

I've started on a Windows Form version, the question now is: Am I willing to finish it? xd

I don't think I will be adding a form, as of now I think the program will be faster via console.

You can do that in a 1-liner batch file

So I have been told.

I am still thinking whether it is worth the effort for such a small program, I was thinking I should start new projects I can work with.

However, thank's for the feedback! I will keep it in mind.

By the way this guy just wanted to do something useful for the community but scub4r thinks he's the best just because he did a warrock statistics website, and just to say, is not hard though.
