the 70-80% "Sell P1 1g" etc. in the lfg tool was huge annoying, all the people was saying that ANet do nothing about the dungeon exploiters - now you guys see they do.
But "Bannwave"? No..

Just a few banned Accounts, not a bannwave.

But - are you know more about it?
Your Text have not rly much informations / source links.. i want to know more about it please.

A bannwave? of course. Imagine a wave catching everyone who is the exploiting bay and currently in its flow direction and beeing banned. i have no more informations. but 6 friends told me (via fb and skype) that they were banned while selling ac p1. I asked if they knew other friends who got banned and they answered with "yes". It was a wave of bans, doesnt mater how much. just one of them told me that he knew that amount of bans. dont know where he got his information.

bannwave = huge load of players that play gw2, not just a few.

i think more players than just like 50 selling ac with exploits.
i saw yesterday a lot, they all not banned.
bannwave is for me not just 50 player, more like 5.000-10.000 or more.

A ban wave is a large scale event (usually gaming related), in which certain parties/accounts get permanently barred from services, for major disruptions. An event like this will usually occur as retaliation against those who are unable to play the game normally, and resort to cheating and using cheating clients.
i checked a lot of websites and sources..no one a word about this "bannwave" or banns - sorry.

Well, then it was a frustrated game master. they should be frustrated more often when they do their job then.

He called it a "small banwave" so I wouldn't be that nitpicky.

Anyway, people who complete dungeons solo without glitching or exploiting have nothing to fear.

i have found something:

“Safe Spot” – Standing in a location to hold aggro or attack a monster/boss while it is unable to damage you (basic attack) and does not leash back to its original starting position.

This is an abuse of a geometry and/or pathing bug, and is considered an exploit.

[...]

I’ll be very clear here:
If a GM finds a player that is using a “Safe Spot”, that player will be moved out of the safe spot and warned (via in-game text). If they are caught again, that account will be temporarily suspended.

If a GM finds a player that is using a “Safe Spot” and selling the dungeon run, that account will be temporarily suspended without warning.

Sounds like regular house cleaning to me. Nothing to really worry about. :)

So this was people safe spotting and selling the spot?

I'm thinking about buying the hack thats on these forums but scared of a ban.

Classic Arenanet. You use a bug that we are unable to fix for 2 years? Ban for you !

So yeah, actually, selling a dungeon by using a safespot (the sellers writing "Boss 1%" are usually using a safespot) will get you banned.
