well, i learnt scar from here [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] in 2-3 days. BUT i learnt things that are useful for making a seafight script. pascal is a very big language and cant be learnt very easy if you plan to learn everything.
after 1 or 2 days of experimenting and making simple procedures i became pretty good and efficient with it.
then after a week created a pretty good war-tool with some pretty cool functions.
oh and something important, after completing your "studies" in scar, take a look at xriddi's scars. they are very tidy scripts and can make you think of plan of how to make your own script

You only have to learn basic practices of pascal, syntax, and you have a wiki of scar wich can help you.
Remember, that you need to learn how to work with coords on pascal :)
