[RELEASE] ItemType Modder

08/24/2014 12:02 leavemealone#1
Introduction:

Hey Epvpers, I have noticed there is not much around on modified itemtype.dat's
these days, so i have have taken the time to put this little application together
which will hopefully allow everyone to use modded itemtype.dat's on any Conquer official or private server client.

Requirements:

- .NET Framework 4.5 (Available from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Features:

This handy tool will simply decrypt, modify and encrypt your itemtype.dat in
just seconds. What makes this handy tool widely compatible is the "items.cfg"
file which comes part of the download. You can modify the "items.cfg" file to
cater for any server or client by only listing the item types applicable.

- Adding [R] prefix for all refined equipment, talismans and gems.
- Adding [U] prefix for all unique equipment and talismans.
- Adding [E] prefix for all elite equipment and talismans.
- Adding [S] prefix for all super equipment, talismans and gems.
- Adding [F] prefix for all fixed equipment and talismans.
- Command tokens named correctly.
- Ganoderma and Titan Scroll named correctly.
- Creates backup of original itemtype.dat to itemtype.bak in your "ini" folder.

Instructions:

- Download "ItemType Modder.rar" from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
- Place "ItemType Modder.exe" and "items.cfg" in your Conquer online root
directory where you can see "conquer.exe" and "play.exe".
- If using on latest client leave "items.cfg" as is, if not modify as required.
(This will only be required if item types have been added or modified
the client or server you may be playing.)
- Launch "ItemType Modder.exe" and follow on screen instructions.

Changelog:

-

What a nice release man. Tryed on 5900~ and 5517 clients and it did wonders :D
Every noobie could do it, its that simple and the best part is, it batches your itemtype in seconds.

Cheers!

I have used a packer on the executable so it can't be decompiled. If your internet security is blocking then you will have to add an exception. This will only be a FALSE positive.

I'm pretty sure it's still working, itemtype.dat encryption and format hasn't changed for years.

Seems like it's not clean:

Looks to me like false positives, due to the obfuscation (executable protection) applied to it.
