Failed to Initialize NetEngine

Everytime I try to run sro, I get an error that pops up saying "Failed to initialize NetEngine [Error code, 11,11004]".

Does anybody know how to fix this?

I've played sro before on my old computer, now I have a new laptop with vista and it won't work for me.

And reinstalling does not help..

did you try to run as admin?

Ya I did, and Windows XP Server Pack 2...doesn't work.

then try sp 3 if youre on 32bit.

edit: now i read the whole thread... you installed xp sp2 on vista ? ....

No, I just clicked run this program using windows XP server pack 2 or w.e like you're supposed to..still doesn't work.
