[How To] Open multiple updaters!

Sometimes some servers decides to Molebox their game.exe so you can't enter the game with multi-client, this is another way of opening the game with multi-client (YOU ALSO DO NOT LOOSE THE NEWEST UPDATES ON THE SERVER!)

A simple trick I use to update the server while BEING in game:
1) Open Updater.exe in HxD.
2) Press CTRL + F and write "Game still in" (without the "") then press find.
3) go lower with the page using arrows so you do not go too far down, once you find the word GAME like this:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
change it into anything with 4 letters as in... [COLOR="rgb(46, 139, 87)"]GA3ME[/COLOR].

Why does this work?
A simple explanation to this is that the Updater.exe reads if there is a program called GAME running and then it hands you the error, so changing the operation error name into something else will make the error useless for our game!

A small release, thought could be useful for some people that dislikes closing the game then updating and waiting...

try finding the word "HTTP" , if it cannot find it then the updater has been moleboxed (as in you have to de-crypt it before finding values).

game.exe can be opened several times without the need of any editing (even if it's packed). Problem is multiclient leads to more cheats, padding, etc.

I know but you miss out the updates and if the admin places in a Game.exe in every update then you would have to do a lot of work :) this way you edit it once and forever without worrying about if your client is updated!

What is the real point to this release... like Sominus says, all it does is open up more problems.
If you want to update your files while in the game, then you still need to restart the game process for the updates to actually take effect.. So it doesnt exactly save any time, or speed anything up, like the reloading you mentioned.
And really.. what admin/server places a game.exe in every patch they do.. what would be the reason behind that.. just unnecessary and stupid..

OH MY GOD BRAIN.EXE IS REQUIRED TO UNDERSTAND MAN!
Okay let me explain, it is simple....
1) Keep game.exe open while updating (GET IT? OR DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN MORE?, normally you gotta close Game.exe to open the updater, this PREVENTS THAT)
2) You can now multi-client without worrying about loosing any update because u open ur updater after all and not ur game.exe (GET IT? hope so..)

And of course this will bring problems, who said something about not bringing problems o.o ?

Still going to attack me with how useless this is ? feel free to, I've proven my points.
btw... the thread name is "[How To]Open multiple updaters.... if you're not intressed in opening more than 1 updaters at a time then don't bother opening it *facepalms*

You say it requires a brain.exe but the point of opening an updater while game.exe is running is still pointless. The data.saf/sah wont make changes to the game until the game.exe is closed and restarted anyways.. so updating on the fly like that is once again, pointless, as you still need to restart the game.exe service for any updated changes to be made.

So you still "lose" updates, as it wont make any live changes to your running game.exe while it's already running.
Wasn't attacking you at all, just trying to grasp at what the real point to this release is.. If you really wanted to grab updates on the fly, then put the servers/updaters address into Nubness' update downloading tool and then patch it in yourself.. It requires no messy changes to the updater.exe itself, and doesn't open up dozens of other pointless problems.

for multi client just make a shortcut of the game.exe to your desktop.
right click on the short cut ->properties ->put at the end of the path "Start Game" and done.
Congratz you can multi client now without using a special game.exe or any changes to the updater or using sandboxie.
As for the topic above.
Even if the game.exe runs you still can do changes to the data.saf/sah and it will save the changes since the game.exe just relays on it but doesnt keep it open all the time.
It only loads information from it when you enter a new map or dungeon after loading these informations the data.sah/saf is unused.
Which means aswell that you can run an update while beeing ingame. To see the changes you dont even need to relogg at all (as long as they are visual updates) you just need to move to another map (which will force the game.exe to reload the data.sah/saf and make the changes visible)
i hope that explains a few to you guys.
