What to do next?

Hello chaps!

I basically finished my task of becoming a FE-Vengeance now (just a few LF3s missing).
So, what to do next? Is the step (up?) to a Spearhead or a P.E.T. a good idea (never bought Uridium and I won't ever do so, only have 70.000 Uridium now)?
I've never been a big fan of a Goliath though, I always preferred the Veangeance for it's outright speed.

What are the best specs for a Vengeance btw?
So far I used
- speed-generatos on ship + shield-generators on drones
- shield-generators on ship + Lasers on drones
for Alien-hunting both lowers and uppers). I might go to hunt down some players with a full-elite Vengeance now...

You should know that Goli give you big advantage between you and your enemy at your level and trust me, flying without SFE with veng nowdays isn't good idea.

If you wanna focus on collecting bb, go and buy spearhead. If not, dont even think about it because it's low. Better buy aegis.

Actually I just do some casual DO-gaming when I want a break from other stuff. I played DO for years now on different accounts (not quite knowing why I did this), perhaps some nostalgia may be involved now... So I usually shoot aliens (mostly lower, sometimes upper) for I was not strong enough to fight other players so far (so no botting). I may want to start doing so though.

Aegis is god-damn ugly, it hurts my eyes... I really like the Spearhead, but I guess you are right, it just isn't a top-notch ship.
What made me go for the Vengeance is the fact there will always be players with much better shield and damage than me, but never one to touch me on the speed-front. So, in theory, one should be able to choose his opponents just by my - quite easily to achieve - adventage in speed (which needs a lot of concentration though).
With a Goliath I wouldn't be exceptionally good in anything, would I (now that FE isn't end of the road in DO)?
Still, more advice is appreciated!

I thought you bot much on boxes, but if you not you can invest uri to bo2 and lf3, optionally buy goliath, think about pet, and go kill stronger aliens on x7 or x6, level up your pet and and account and grow up in anything and then jump on killing cubi with pet kami.

If you don't bot on boxes 24/h, spearhead would be bad choice for you as you said.

Anyone with veng in lighting design with config 0 shield, full speed, full lf4 - can in fact touch you. There are many ppl that are flying on config like that. Just come, and quick destroy, and run away.

Yes, FE is begin. Then you start with drones design, lf4, special designs, pet. In nowdays old FE is shit :c

Get an aegis, an npc hunting clan and kill bks and cubes in the upper... Make some friends on your server and go 5-3 and collect palla for galaxy gates (Zeta's first till you get full havoc) and use booty keys from zeta gates on lf4 days or apis days

In my opinion you should buy an another hangar and put a goli to it, it will be pretty useful if you have more ships, and you could farm npc's faster with a goli.
Pet isn't a bad idea, but level it up until 8 lvl only because your pet won't eat as much as lvl 15 do.
PS: (I'm a lover of spearhead, just like you :p. I can box 10 hours a day with it, and isn't getting bored :) :pimp: )

Yes, I hate those Lightning-Vengeances. I survived somesome very evil Goliaths due to me speed yesterday though...
Strangly enough I'm not a clan-player, and I don't think a clan would like my - sort of - casual attitude to DO.
Second hangar would mean starting kind of all over again, I don't think I would like that.
P.E.T seems to be way to go (apart from Goliath or Aegis) then, but how expensive is it (running-costs)???

I just checked the offical forum-tread and I think I "have" to buy a P.E.T. now (either with FE Vengeance or Goliath then). Fuel-prices aren't that high (max. 4 Uridium / minute) then.
But I have a question:
Can I level up my P.E.T. and equip it with more LF3s (etc.) without spending more Uridium (apart from fuel) on it? Or do I have to buy extra laser-slots? Perhaps I wouldn't bother with gears and protocols first.

Damn, I don't think I can afford this without using real money. I miss the old times...

If u can't pay money u can't come far fast. With fast i mean slow bcz even if u pay it will take much time to become good. So i'd recomend to LIFE instead of no-life.

Look, When you buy your Pet you will get: 1 Laser,2 Generator,1 Gear,2 Protocol slot... In my case I just use 1 Gear slot, for example when I'm on boxes I have one auto looter on it and this is totally enough. Or if I go on palla, then I have only autoresource collector in it. (But in most of time I'm on boxes, cuz palla isn't a best place for me).
If you still have doubts about pet, than just search on google and you will be much smarter about it.

There's just no way I'm going to spend real money on this game (value). Because of my life (!) I cannot and want not waste so much time. So I will never become "very good" (eg full LF4), but decend perhaps.
I will do some research about it, if I have further questions I will ask them here.

Some news:
I spend some of my earned Uridium on the missing LF3s so I have a full-elite Vengeance now, which is great use for hunting. I may change to a Goliath in some time though.

Just a question: Can I play the Alpha Gate multiple times without rebuilding (and therefore earn quite a lot of Credits and Uridium)?
