Bypass multiclient check

09/25/2009 14:01 G443r#1
I have added a "Null byte Multiclient check". That should make multiclient work, for atleast this version of patch.

Instructions:
Use the Conquer.exe while in zip. (Don't extract to conquer folder)
It will simply add value to Conquer.exe

Proof of Concept (PoC):
It simply intercept packets by adding null bytes to the header/version check. So everytime you start "Play.exe", it will automatically intercept the packets and adjust it to the server, so that it recognize it as a normal client. This way, you might be able to not need switch Conquer.exe for multiclient each time a patch is released.

Notes:
This is version 0.1, which means it's still under beta phase.
I have not added any GUI either, so no questions you will answer.

It's a PoC by me!

Currently, I have not added any GUI to this tool. But I will do in a later version if all like this.

I guess you are trying to say it doesn't work.

Can you please provide screenshot?

You start the Conquer.exe, then from folder, and you should have no need to change after next need.

You can't start Conquer after using?
Or your multiclient stopped work after that?

Please explain more so that I can improve my hack.

This is the first contribution to this community.

Which OS do you have? And as I said before, I have not added any GUI in this first BETA version.
