[IDEA]Private Server Advertising Section

I think it would be easy to either make a Help section or a Private Server Advertising section, this section has a really wide range of subjects, and I think it would be better if one of those sections got added.

Please post your opinion, without flaming me or any other person on this thread topic. (I don't need to know your personal opinions about other people or me)

That's why they made the pserver section, they wont make another one.

Private Server is a very wide range of topics, Advertising Private Servers, Private Server Releases, Request and Questions..

Earlier everything was in the co2 main discussion section, now that was chaos, but currently there is no reason to put up another section.

What about a thread where you advertise your server, without any comments. So if anyone is looking for a pserver to play on, they hop into that thread and look for the server that suits him best?

I think that's a good idea, but it will be a big responsibility to make a thread like that, you need to keep updating it, e.g. when a server quits, and maybe it would be good thing to make 2 different servers in that Thread, Normal Servers and New Servers, than when the a new server exists for about 2 weeks, move them to Normal Servers region.

Just make a sub-category in the pserver section for advertising servers.

That was my idea, but I think Emme's idea is better, if the Emme and other mods help keeping it Updated, I will make a thread.

@Emme, can you please post if I'm allowed to make such a thread?

I know, but someone was saying that's too many sections or something lol

Both ideas are good, but I prefer a sub-category or atleast a sticky thread that will (not would) be updated daily if not even hourly... Which means deleting dead server, adding new ones, updating links etc etc.

That made me lol, literally, cause its true. and not to mention his 20 releases a day that you could easily find using the search button.

just commenting on how i like r a g e z o n e having a "release" section, and 4 b o t t e r s having a Binaries section. Might be a good idea for one of those...

Still waiting for a mod to make a sub-section or give me permission to make a thread.

Moderators do not have the power to create sub-sections.

I've spoken to some admins about this, and we generally agree that there is no real need for a sub section.

You are of course to make any thread you want.
Keep in mind we've had so many "[ACTIVELY UPDATED] Server List" threads that most of the time nobody expects them to work anymore.
