So was thinking of learning C# or C++. I wanted to make my own server tried the guides, and had absolutely no idea what I was doing... lol

So was wondering where I could learn or how all you guys learned. (tutorials, a learning program, etc..)

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong section xD

Learn C#, it's easier to get started into without much previous knowledge, yet it's more professional than things like visual basic or qbasic (It's actually semi-widely used in the actual programming industry now). It's got standardized functions for most everything yet allows you to do anything you want with native interop.
It's a popular language with many great tutorials, all you need is [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
And the cool thing about it is that it's syntax is similar to C++ if you ever want to learn that.

i learn best from doing myself, it just depends on what kind of learner you are.

if doing stuff makes you better --
work at it yourself. download a source + client + appserv & just work with it.

if watching stuff makes you better --
watch Hybrid's videos.

if reading (not meeeeee) --

You can add my MSN, I'll try to to help you.

A tip I learnt myself:

If you're about to learn a programming language, learn it in general, don't specify on a certain area (maybe CO2).
