Best formation and ship (Moth + Diamond...)

What would be the best ship for hunting aliens (BK, cubes, pirates)

I was thinking of using goliath with moth and diamond.

I haven't bought them yet so I can't try them out but I have a few questions. When I kill bk, pretend, and I use moth (for dmg) and the shields go down 1% every second, could I switch to diamond after shields hit 0 so it start to regenerate (give that I have about 400k shields)?

Genuine question. Is this also the "best" hunting method since it would barely lose any hp while switching between formations?

A goliath with diamond is pretty good,but an aegis with diamond would be the best ;)

bk, the best is moth. eat hp fast with it if you circle good ^^ diamond for cubing.

lol i dont even circle bk's with moth, just use aegis and you make 15k uri+ per hour

He don't have aegis. So yes.. Circling.

diamond, moth and heart are very good.

well , i should say buy them all , they are useful !

I guess some more drone formations used in a combination are the way to gain the most.

But, especially for NPCs I'd recommend the bat-formation, crab-formation (on low hp), diamond-formation and the moth as well...
For cubing I'd use bat-, diamond- and crab-formation.
