Banned for buying gold??

Has this happened to anyone? Does anet monitor for this? I have made smaller purchases in the past (100-300g) but I want to buy a legendary so I'm thinking about buying 3000 gold. Will something like this show up on their radar?

Yes they do, heard about people who get a ban for this.

Yea you can get banned always for buying gold. However if you buy from me you most likely won't, I've traded over 40k gold since beginning of game and never had any problems.

My friends have made large transactions before. (3-5k) from offgamers/g2a and they are still playing the game. I am not sure how their detection works.

There is a risk, especially when buying 3K gold. Buying gold for real money is prohibited by the game rules.

I mean I can sell you up to 20euros worth of gold at least 100% safe hah, I am trying to sell to multiple people to keep fraud down.

You always run a chance of getting ban when you Hack,Buy Gold, Or even say a bad word in chat.
It just depends on how you do it...
I've Auto Explored Before... Yet look how many people have been ban for it and I'm still playing with the same character that i auto explored more than 90% of the Map with...
I've bought Gold... Recently just cause... i bought 3k gold... Be smart about it... Either have an alt account to get it sent to and then send it to you . I bought it and i asked to send me an amount of 1500 and then amount of 1740 in two seperate mail yet im still here playing among all of you.
Be wise how you buy it and who you buy it from... But you always run risk of getting ban when you do something thats an easy way and not ment to be part of the game.

The best way to not get banned is to buy from someone who can make it for you and send it to you via mail like Redcom said.

It's just like Lion2205 said, it depends on how you are doing it, or just go the extremely safe service by just doing what redcom said.

i soled much times gold too its high risk but no one got banned under 500 gold
