Is it possible?

Is it possible to get promoted from g3 to p5 by winning g3 promos?Just last week I got promoted from g5 to g3 cuz I won g5 promos.

It could be possible, but you must have a god-like MMR.
First off, you will jump from G3 to G1. From G3 to P5 is pretty unrealistic.

If your MMR is high enough you can skip one division, never two.

You CAN indeed skip more than 1 Division, but you can't skip your Tier-Promo [5 games].

Any sources or proofs? Never heard something like that, even in pro streams when they are smurfing.

I smurfed from bronze 5 and I am gold 3 atm.
I am getting matched with plat 1 to diamond 5 people and never skipped more than one division.

I really don't think it's possible to skip more than one.

Habe grade keinen Link, aber er hat schon recht.

Wenn deine MMR wirklich sehr gut ist, kannst du for example von p5 zu p2 skippen [geht max bis p1, ab dia geht sowas nicht mehr].

Jedoch geht z.B. g1 -> p[x] nicht, da man keine Tier-Promos Skippen kann.


Falls du also eine sehr gute MMR hast, kannst du, wenn du 100 LP erreichst, mehrere Divisionen in deiner Liga skippen OHNE die Series spielen zu müssen. Aber kannst halt keine Tier-Promos skippen.

Das haben die irgendwann in S4 mal so reingehaun.


'n paar Freunde von mir sind schon in Plat bissl geskippt. Einer von P5 zu P2, ohne Series spielen zu müssen.

It is possible to Skip more than 1 Division. But you can't Skip more than one if you're (for example) at Gold 1.

If you get into your Series you will know, that you only can skip One.

If you CAN skip more than 1, you will instantly get promoted after hitting 100 LP [no series has to be played].


BUT TO TOPIC: No, you can't skip fom G3 to P5, because it isn't possible to Skip TIER Promotions. Only Divisionpromotions.

Once I duoed with a friend who was around 80 points silver 1. I helped him to get gold and we had a pretty long win streak. He got nearly 30 points/win so he would definitely get to promo if we win the next match. We won it but we got a surprise! He skipped the series! He was instantly promoted to gold 5.

So I think it isnt possible to jump over the 5 games series when u are not in the 1st division of the league but as told it is possible to skip it.

kp, wenn zb dia1 auf bronze 5 acc spielt und bei bronze 4promo immer dodged, also nur gewinnt, nie verliert aber trotzdem bronze 5 ist und dann dia1 mmr hat kann ich mir gut vorstellen das man nach der promo höher als bronze 3 ist :D

Man kann nur eine Division skippen, aber nie die Aufstiegsspiele in Silber/Gold/Plat/Dia.

i played ona bronze 5 acc with 50% winrate and got a 23 game winstreak and never skipped more than 1 division... maybe cause of the mmr

You can;t skip into a new tier

never seen or heard of it
