Comming back to silkroad

hello all,

it's been a while that i played silkroad, i guess it's been around 4-5 years ago.
before that i played silkroad around 5 years. i can still remember my first SoS drop back then, i always loved to go trading, hunting, thiefing with friends.

now i got some free time and i have been looking around to play some silkroad again. but i see so many versions (international, chinees, private server) and i also heard something op silkroad 2 or legend of silkroad, don't know what this is but sounds interesting.

so if anyone know a website or could sum me up a bit the differences of all those silkroads out there would be a great help.

and i guess those gold bots are still around ? :)

Private servers:
-Populated servers full of idiots
-85% servers created by kids with no experience whatsover
-10% great servers, PERFECT. Empty..
-5% servers actually succeed examples Velestia, EliteSRO, Revelations SRO

Hope that helps.. I play in one of the 10% with the same 20 people everyday and enjoy my time, but lack of players has its toll.

If you see the Private Advertising Section you may see some posts with greatly anticipated servers, they are full of kids and such and have some idiotic systems.

-Been waiting for months for a server that will be perfect and long term (~4 months+) with a population of ~800+.

sro r seems to be great

I suggest the Pserver : Oldschoolsro .
This the most mature most developed stable Isro like server i have been on .
Of course 80 cap no EU just a suggestion :) I play on it
