Okay today i'll teach you how to use the Alpha Channel (Easy)

Alright now we will make the 130 blade into

Now we will start this by right-clicking the image and click "Save image as" and name it w/e you want.

Open it in your editing software (I'll use Photoshop CS2)...

Rotate the image to the angle the 130 blade is at...

After you rotate the image you might want to crop it, then adjust the size as close as you can get to the 130 blade...

Now its time to drag the sword onto the blade .dds, once you do that you have to delete all the surrounding of the sword...An easy way to do this is using the magic wand tool

In your "Layers" box click "Channels"

Now click on RGB (1st one) and then use the magic wand to select everything around the sword.

At the bottom you will see "Alpha 1", click in the Checkbox so now an eye appears there...now click the Channel itself;

Select the "Pencil" tool and draw all around the sword (with the magic wand selecting everything around it you shouldnt have a problem messing up the sword):

Yours might have a color around the sword instead of the background, that is ok.

Now lets save the .dds (the way you always save it)...

The final turnout should look something like:

It might not look so good because this was a quicke and if you notice the handle is alot longer, you can duplicate a small part of the sword and drag it to part of the handle to make it look better,etc,etc

Last but not least if you want this to be a level 130 sword (example) then take this .dds and 410335.c3, duplicate them, and replace the 130 sword files with it.

TIP - You might want to make the sword thicker for a better turnout

This didnt work for me =/ I did exactly as instructed but i just got a normal 130 blade with the sword ontop of it. When i drew round the shape in pencil i just got a red outline but nothing had changed.
