hi i know this may be old, but i'm currently asked to do a project in gcph. before i ask, here's what i have so far.
i started with 2 solutions for this:
1. edit uce
2. fake gg
i contemplated on the uce and figured i dont have time to be studying delphi over again. so faking gg would be viable. but i'm not sure which of these security measures gg does to ensure integrity at runtime:
1. compare version/checksum with client INI files
2. compare version/checksum with server
3. compare version/checksum with client exe
4. recalculate checksum with gg client files
so, i figure if i get some old gg DES files, edit checksum to match current DES files, this would check out even with INI files. am i on the right track or is this going nowhere? coz if it won't work, i'm gonna start with the uce now. thanks in advance.

whew 4 views still no replies. makes me wonder whether this is a hackers or a leechers forum.

still no replies. but at least i got a lot of views...
ok so im gonna make the uce now. those who even understand a weeeeee bit of programming (cough) may contribute. literacy in any programming language is very much welcome and is not an option.
