Is nobody working on a private server?

Basically as the title says, is anybody working on a private server/emulator for this and if not why not? There has been attempts on other forums, a C# and Python source.

Any idea what changed in the login/auth from Beta to Alpha?

Afaik there actually was someone working on a private server, we even have [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] on that one. It was shut down because of copyright issues (obviously).

I suppose a lot of people would be interested in testing teso.

They have test weeks, where you can test the game for 1week.

Maybe some people don't like limited test phases. :o

I'm assuming the monthly costs sort of keep people from playing because they just do not like to pay on a regular basis. There could be many reasons for thoughts like that, for instance, imagine if you don't have all that much money on your hands (students, hehe) or just don't play as often, I for one wouldn't be happy with paying more than once for a game under these circumstances.

But there were a few others that were also working on separate things, one being a python script which got you all the way to character selection screen, I still have that and I also have the C# script but that was buggy to say the least.
