tring to use this program to make web page for my server but the myqsl wont start says Apache is running but mysql wont . says something about a port im tring to use elite for demons www and pages but can seem to get it to work im running windows vista basic

For your mysql what i do is delete mysql folder out of xampp , then put mysql folder from db into xampp folder. If that doesnt work your php version may be too high , try downloading xampp version 1.53

thanks ill try it ok its working. i copied www file to it and edited it now can i find out if its working?Quote:
