"Classic" as in spamming mets in tc to get socs, no other way.

So find some meteor upgrade class or void and change the success rate for socket there maybe?

I mean, are you using a source from this community or an illegal TQ binary?

Yeah, I dont really know how to do that, a friend was handling all of that stuff, but he wont be arround for like the next month, so I need to learn how, a 101 quick explanation for dummies would help maybe?

Is it actual source code? Or is it just executables, and folders such as ini, maps, etc?

Sounds like TQ Binaries, not many people here are too knowledgeable of them.
If you're looking to get rid of the npcs that socket equipment, you can just remove them from the database table[cq_npc].

we already got rid of them, just trying to modify the 2nd soc rate by spamming mets

uhmm like you have a 0.032% of chance to get a 2nd soc on a 1 soc item by spamming mets on tc, trying to move that to a .4% or so.

Don't think you have the capability to change that in binaries. There is very little flexibility with adjustments/customizations when it comes to binaries.

I would suggest deleting those files and telling your friend off for giving you highly illegal binaries. Try using a source from our community instead. It's still not legal (since you're using their client), but it's far less severe than using TQ binaries.

I'm not challenging what you're saying, but how are they any different when it comes to legalities? I'm just curious.
