Funny thing is that it has shown english text earlier. Isn't that what the language catalog and the set.ini is for?

ok tried the english version. Same thing there. For the fun of it i fired up an old 2.14 version and this shows the right text - and not the squares.

did u only change the l2walker.exe or did u change the whole folder where u did use the 2.14?

I have a separate folder for 2.14, the original one.

At what cuntry you are?
What is the Local settings on your PC?
Localize have effect on that

I'm in norway. My local settings said I was in the US. Changed to norway but didnt help
