Pop up by droppping meteor or DB

Hey guys..

Its my first post ever and i just have one question :D

Is there a programm which make a pop up when a DB or Met drops ?

Im playing an Archer and his range is sometimes to big.

Sorry for my bad english :P

You can't i think it is a server side thing.

mh okay.. I was hoping that maybe someone could connect the sound of a DB/Met with an program :D

I don't really know. Maybe someone can, don't lose hope. :D

Unfortunately there is no such program, however you can change the icons of Meteors and Dragonballs so that you can see them easier.

You could with a proxy or some hook, intercept the item drop packet or the item spawn action in the visible range and check for the type of the item, than easily open a pop-up on the PC. You could at the same time gives the coordinates... With the current anti-bot system, harder to do :p

I showed a concept similar to this [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] (Unfortunately, Gamerstube has shut down since, so the video is no longer there), and I'm pretty sure [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] used this approach too.

The idea is to just use the "item link message" ([item Stone(+1) IIIIIIII CCCCCCCC] where I is the Id of the item and C is the color code) whenever something "valuable" is dropped.

But like you said, obivously this requires some sort of bot, and that's not something you just make in 5 minutes anymore thanks to their anti-bot system.
