Hey there people,

My name is Bart and I played flyff in version 13. I came back because I really loved the game in my childhood and saw the server development was really changed.

Since that I'm playing flyff again, I really want to start my own server. I know it's very difficult, but I really want to learn :)

I've got some questions for you guys and I hope you can help me a little out because i'm really a flyff dev beginner.

1. What's the best guide to setup your server.
2. Why do you have to compile the source?
3. What would be the diffrence if I will use mssql 2008 instead of 2005.
4. Any download links to clean serverfiles without any changes? So I can learn from what I change in my server.

Thank you very much for helping me out!
Bart

Im also new to the Dev scene but if you put much effort into it you can do it :D
And also a little tip is to try some stuff by yourself before searching it on the internet it helped me alot.

The best/cleanest files are the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] in my opinion.
They have a couple features but still enough stuff to do by yourself.

And how to setup Databases/ODBC? Have a look on this [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].

You dont realy have to compile the source if you dont want to.
Except the files that you downloaded are not compiled.

About the databases im not that experienced but i guess a database is not compatible with every version of SQL, read the thread where you get your files from and see what mssql version u need.

The best and cleanest Files are Clean v15 Source/Resource.
