Increase in Banning?

Hey guys, maybe we need a post that lists any sign of trouble. Please list the date if you had one of your accounts banned and for what reason. Someone in here said as many as 5 people have been banned in the last couple of days. Also if you have been IP banned please let us know, or especially if more than one account has been banned.


I had an account temporarily banned 1 week ago, about 8-23-09 for trying to put too much dil on a lowbie char (2 bil in bank). It was auto-banned somehow and acclaim would not tell me exactly what happend. When I tried to log in it said incorrrect pw when I knew it wasn't. It took about 4 days to get it straightend out. I was paniked for a good while thinking my account was hacked. Acclaim did nothing to confirm or deny my account was hacked, banned or anything.

This experience taught me to use gmail accounts for all. I had made some account with bogus emails that I couldn't log into or had an email account or two that I could no longer access. That makes it very time consuming because they have to ask you all these questions to reset your pw (BANG HEAD HERE!). :rtfm: If you get any of the question incomplete or wrong it will delay your access for sometimes days. My suggestion, if you have an account without a corresponding email, change the email on it before an issue arises.


Anyway please tell us about your ban story as it can help our community by not repeating the mistakes and maybe even entertaining us a bit.

Around 2 days after the 1st ban: Called the GM a mother****r for banning my first acc.

lol the same happend to me...2 of my accounts was with changed pass...i dont have spywares...acclaim change the passes :mad:

or maybe you were using trainer v3 lol....

first got banned for just hacking in python with no speed. before bmr

second got banned hacking in abyss, gm chased me in cause i was reported before

third got banned for shield hacking heiharp was on a noobie char tho

fourth got banned for hacking in df with this othr guy

i only had a problem with the third one

please post the dates also guys.

Well, my 15x was banned yesterday.
I checked Acclaim's screenshot petition thing to find 1 ss of my activity. It appeared I'd gotten like 15 lvls in a week (yoshi :rolleyes:) , but that was the only proof they had.
I sent an appeal and am awaiting an answer...

Here that guys? Might be wise to spread out the exp time and not stack it all on one toon. Yeah I had a char get booted from a guild for leveling too fast. That was the only proof they had. I realy enjoy playing dead front legit, but then again thats how you get into trouble. Everyone knows you now, and even if you never hack the df till its empty, just cuz you show up the next day and you are 2 levels higher, people will call you hacker.

With the server coming to a close everyone feels like its crunch time, just remember all your work might be for not if you aren't carefull. Keep the inputs coming I think this is a valuable tool for our community to have.

i wish logs would dissappear after a week

so then there is increase in baning since everyone is panicing and trying to get 100 lvls in a day
