HEX EDIT?!

I cant edit my 'Shell.dat' I have no idea how to, I highlight it then click edit it doesnt let me =s This is what it says:

5.88.29.27 BlackWorldEO test test �&

Can somone please do it for me? D=

My Ip is :75.127.117.202
Server : UnknownGaming
test test is user and pass there already done
Please if somone can do this is will be a BIG help D=
