I want to make my server non hamachi and I need to forward my register page's port so it works. So what would I have to exactly write here? Btw I think gameserver port is 9958 and website 3306, not sure. But what would I have to write? I'm really not sure. =/

For both Enabled and TCP
LAN Server is probably your intern IP. (e.g. 192.168.1.2)
and than add:
80 - website
9958 - CO1
5816 - CO2
5817 - CO3
If you want to be able to use MySQL on other computers, so not only localhost, you need to open the port for MySQL, but that's up to you to decide.

Yeah but what I'm confused in is the difference between Private port and Public port..

And btw when I write my IP in LAN Server it says "The 4th address LAN Server must be an integer". wth?

Well here's what I did. I typed under "Name" GameServer. Then I put the GameServer port (9958) on public and private. I put the protocol on.. I forgot which but I tried both for everything. I put under Lan Server the IP it showed on my cmd black box under "ipconfig" and Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection: IPv4 which was 192.168.10.101 and I enabled it then I clicked add and it added it. Then I changed the IP in my Source under Config.ini to my ip (ipchicken.com) which is 99.230.11.186 and I changed the ip in my client to then I turned on the server and when I tried to login it froze (which happens when server is offline or something like that). Then I noticed that when I turned on the server it says GameServer port: 9958 but I also noticed AuthServer: 5816, so then I went back to my router thingy and did the same thing that I did with port 9958 to this port 5816 to see if it was that but then it still didn't work. What did I miss guys? Help please :(

ok first you need to make a static ip on your computer. just google it. if you cant find it mesage me and ill make a tutorial i guess. privet and public port is just the port range. put the same number in each unless a port is like this 1080-1089.

@BloodBounty

Its better if u release a tutorial on how to portfoward cuz alot ppl need to know how to portfoward :)

Now that dyndns.com dont have wildcards enabled for free members, does it effect anything or will i be able to still use that dyndns.com for the domain?

Lol, wow you linked to my port scanner, so there is actually a person that doesn't flame me for releasing it :). BTW, I told you to add in both Port tabs the same thing. Everybody has to fill in public and private port, at least everybody I helped with it.
09/05/2009 09:33 NukingFuts#13
lolz yep i linked it bak to ur scanner :D. I thought its really useful and helpful has alot ppl don't know if they're server is really online or not :)

Thanks dude, I'm glad to hear someone likes it :).
I was about to close it.
