[Upload] A working kom extractor/packer for the new kom

I obtained this program from a Korean elsword forum.

It works! But don't expect much; You cannot modify important files such as luas. However, you can still edit or exchange images, sounds, voices and etc. You can even unpack data036.kom, repack it, and use it in game.

A brief manual is included in the attached .rar file below, which contains only two python scripts for unpack/repack.

after komextract_new.py --input data018.kom --output data018 nothing happens

try komextract_new.py --in data018.kom --out data018
instead.

Chi_Yoku: which version of python is installed at your computer? I heard that python ver 3.X.X might cause syntax errors. Try python ver 2.7.1 instead, whose link is included in the manual.

Chi Yuko: OK. I googled and found a solution.

It didn't work because your python setup configured your registry wrongly.

Execute python directly. In my case, python is installed under c:\python27 so

c:> c:\python27\python.exe komextract_new.py --in data018.kom --out data018

Extraction Complete.
