What would be the common goal on the svn? itemtype.dat's are custom to their respective servers depending on what each one has so I don't see how that would work. On osrose it was all to make an emulator for rose online, but here we already have basic server executables and databases with most everything on them.

SVN is version control system. it's used for archiving changes in source codes, how would you use it for itemtype.dat? I can't think of any way.

Data files have no actuall code in them. They are read according to the client's code nothing else.

i know toying around with WoW you use the svn to make the executables to run the server. In theory couldnt we do the same if we had TQ's SVN?
