[RELEASE] Dragonica [server/client/tools] source code

Hello everyone,

Version: 0.15.12, but you can upgrade to whatever version you want.

Long time i haven't been here, but now i'm back :)
So i wanted to do something nice to this community.
So today i will release dgn source code :)
Files includes client & server & tools source codes.
But one problem something with compilation, i hope you manage to fix it, because one guy already fixed it.

0.15.12 is Chapter 3, right? Cool, this is the last playable version of Dragonica (though Chapter 1 would be perfect :D)

So you got the source code...that's very perfect we could just backup to chapter 1 with these and made our own chapters.. :D But the only problem is how to mod chapter 3 ?

Dragonica is realy easy to modding x)

They're quit a lot , If someone or some people want to make a one ; I will only work on chapter 1 server. :p

Chapter 3 ain't that bad (especially when I am looking at all this crap from Chapter 4 and above). I think there would be more people for it because of easy exp from F7. Chapter 1 is the greatest one but I am afraid everyone is too lazy to spam F4 xD

Oh, and my lovely Grenadier is stronger on this version :>

No , things have changed now I mean personally if I work on a chapter 1 I will mod it and bring old gameplay , maps , storyline. And I will also figure out a new way of earning much exp instead of doing nothing on F7. ;)

I wish you good luck, though I have bad feelings about this. One Chapter 1 server failed. I think this is because people wrongly think that the latest versions of the game are the best. And simply wish to play there, not on some old version, having potentially much less content. Probably they are mostly people who joined Dragonica after Chapter 1 and might consider this part as boring and poor.

Maybe that too. The owner probably wanted players to feel Chapter 1 completely, together with exp rates we had back then. Comparing to later chapters, that's right, those rates were quite hardcore (on EU server in 2010 it took me 5 or 6 months to hit 60 level)
Anyway, basic exp rate on the other hand ensures long playtime. If we wanted to increase it greatly, we would need to lift level cap as well (AND add new maps). Otherwise a player will hit max level quickly, get the best gear quickly and then what? He will get bored and quit of course.

Yes i wanted to keep official rate of chapter 1. But as you said, if exp rate is too low, they will stop and if its to high, they will be bored and leave.
I spend lot of my time to make this chapter 1 server and 70% of players left because of exp rate.
Or as you said, need to increase it a bit and make new content for the game but i did not have the time to do it.
Maybe i will work again on my ch1 file, do something good and re-open the server.

About this release, i fixed it long time ago but i just wasted my time. If you have the time to rebuild database, xml, script go ahead. But after fixing all of this, it still very buggy.

Hyrius ! It's been very long time since we didn't talk. I'm ready to fully support you my friends I have some nice ideas if you want to talk just re-add me Skype or MP me. Please ;)
