Hello everyone,
As we all well know, there's a couple of web based admin panels flying around, which have all been used by a lot of people who want to make their life easier.
I was told these admin panels are vulnerable to SQL injection, which as I was also told, lead to the destruction of many servers.
After months of work, with a few little pauses, I have just recently finished working on the application I was mentioning earlier. I was initially going to sell it, but then I remembered I haven't made a free release in quite a long while, so here we are - a free, fully functional, and most important, secure admin panel.
It is divided into 6 compartiments
I could explain everything in detail, but a picture is worth a thousand words.
The archive I attached below contains 3 files:
For having a more functional log system, and decreasing log processing time, I have changed the PS_GameLog database, by spreading the information in multiple tables and not recording the so called junk logs, which are useless. From now on, your logs will only contain useful information.
For those who purchased my custom PS_GameLog, you don't need the PS_GameLog.mdf and PS_GameLog.ldf file, your database is already adjusted to working with this application. The PS_GameLog I have sold has more features than the one released here, which means if you bought it from me, you don't need the one in this release.
For those who haven't purchased the PS_GameLog from me, you will need the PS_GameLog database from this release.
Instructions to replace your PS_GameLog with this custom PS_GameLog
Note : The PS_GameLog database was created on SQL Server 2008 R2, so it will only work on SQL Server 2008 R2 and above. As I stated in numerous other posts, I highly recommend SQL Server 2008 R2 over any other version, so if you're running anything lower than that, do yourself a favor and upgrade to 2008 R2.
The Admin Panel only works on localhost, which means it can only interact with databases from the same machine as the application. You may call this dumb, I call it secure, it cannot be accessed remotely, it cannot be injected, it cannot be DDOSed, nobody even knows if you're using it or not.
Requires .NET Framework 4.0 or above.
If you have anything to say or ask, don't hesitate to do so, as I might not be around for much longer.
For those who are interested in a version of this admin panel with more features and is ready to pay a small price for it, leave me a message and we can work something out.
Enjoy !
