Pushing in "Freebies" section

03/23/2014 18:26 Stureplan#1
Hello Community,

We sometimes host raffles. However, according to the rules, we cannot push the raffles threads. I hereby want to suggest that we should be able to, every 24h. Rules have been updated recently:
Quote:
Freebies: You may only push your topic once every 24 hours, except for raffles!

Thank you [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] for informing me!

As you see, it's "except for raffles". I know some people might be wondering "What's the use of pushing it when nobody wants it?" But, the point is, Freebies is very active. Sometimes our thread gets into page 2 or page 3 and so. People can't see some threads sometimes and I guess making us able to push any threads in Freebies section would be helpful (at least in my eyes).

Looking forward to your opinions!

I don't think it's really that necessary, since you're basically giving away a free item, and if nobody wants it, there's not much you can do about it

That's not the case here.
People sometimes don't see some threads and nobody replies in it. That's the reason I want a push thing in Freebies section.

There is already a suggestion:

It is basically not allowed to open a new thread about an already suggested idea, but in this case it's fine since the previous thread is only written in German.

Corresponding rule:

That's why this thread has just been reopened.

*Bump

In case someone gonna post "It's not allowed to bump in this section", I've asked PyRoLeX:

I once talked to an admin and he said threads in Suggestions can be pushed once every 12+ days (afaik). It wasn't mentioned in these rules because there will be a push function sooner or later.

Oh, my bad. Mhm.. but... "Except for raffles", That means we can't push contest threads?

You are allowed to push giveway-threads with an unlimited amount ("Avatars for free (incl. Downloadlink)", "Free GFX services" or the like), but no draws (e.g. "Post # to win")

Thank you for the Information. However, I want to suggest that if we can "push in raffles" too. :)

I think raffles get automatically pushed till the end, because other users have to post to participate.

Pushing raffles was forbidden for a reason.
No.
