subtype in the Message packet.

In general, the MsgTalk packet start with a 4-byte RGB code for the color.

Code:
- Msg Header
- Color
- Channel
- ...
So, you just need to send the packet with a color attribute in RGB format.

your source might have a color parameter. Like SendMessage(From, To, Message, Color, Type)

What I want is that the "you" be bracketed with a different color. This will give [you] in the cat but with a different color.

You can't have the actual words you are in progress of typing be displayed with color.

Only the output can be displayed with color.

You theoretically COULD create color tags that would put the output with color....

Eg, you could type [red]Message
Which would make the output red or any color desired.

Would require some decent programming knowledge to do.

Duh. Can't find you in no cat :/

Ace is right, Ulti did it as proof of concept like a year ago i think. It requires reverse engineering.
