Monthly bandwidth?

Hi,

Concerning reverse proxy services, some have their prices vary upon "Clean bandwidth" rate per month.
How much would 1 player consume per month? (given the fact that he is 24/7 online and botting). *Without calculating the updates*

I never actually thought of this, but 1TB per month should be enough even with 600-700 users.

I calculated it some months ago, but I didn't think I saved it. On venture V1 we had around 400 players online 24/7 and the bandwidth usage was less than 5mbit/s

I think 2TB monthly should suffice for a 1K slot server (if you actually use the updater)

Back in 2011, we had 1TB/month bandwitdth, and we had 600+ players online 24/7 (1k players at peak times)
It was more than enough.

Statistics for 500 online in January 81 GB incoming.
Outgoing is so much because of Download server.
1TB is more then enough for everything on ~500 online with auto-patcher.
You will need even less because on your case is counted only incoming no?

I might consider setting up a separate downloadserver on a different machine.

1.3TB for 700-800 users.-

If you want to reduce it just put the download server in another server.

1TB bandwidth for 1000 constantly players is to low, also depends on how many packets 1 user take!
