restore database

hallo,

afther a long time i wanne re-try to make my own fun server and mess with it.
i downl sql 2012, but i can't seem to restore my database?

look:

normaly you i sould see a box whare i can click on my back up? but it won't show up and i do not know why?..

anny help on this?

There should be a Pop-Up which shows the problem.

Try again - but go at "Options", then mark "Overwrite the existing Database (WITH REPLACE)"

Also take a look under the Device tab - normally there should appear your Databasename.

you know what the problem sould be?

I think where it says [C:\Program Files(x86)\ etc.. Should be your Path to your database be selected... Another reason could be that this back-up was created with an older version of MSSQL? Not sure 'bout that

the path is to the .bak fille, is thad rong?..

Seems like wrong made Backup.
