How to get custom Map/ItemIcon pics

08/27/2009 02:33 Jay1029#1
I know how to make my own rings, neckys, boots etc. But I want to learn how to make my own MapItemIcons and ItemMinIcons. Or where to get ones that are already made. Can anyone help me out?

for ones previously made go to data/itemminicon or data/mapitemicon

Or extract ItemMinIcon.ani and MapItemIcon.ani

To make custom ones just take one from images.google.com, use some filters and alter them a bit. Perhaps the shading tool and some of the brush.

Technically they don't have to be dds files xD In my patches for the co private server I'm with.. I made my files into MI format instead of dds @_@

you need a wdf extractor and extract there .ani files (itemminicon & mapitemicon)
